What to do if my Polygroup Water Pump motor doesn't start?
    • M
      Mrs. Tammy HarrisAug 8, 2025
If your Polygroup Water Pump motor doesn’t start, first, ensure the GFCI Power Cord is plugged into a grounded outlet and press the RESET button. Also check your circuit breaker on the electrical panel and reset it if tripped. If the problem continues, have the circuit checked by a qualified electrician. Finally, verify that the line voltage is between 105VAC and 125VAC.

Why is my Polygroup SUMMER WAVES SKIMMERPLUS SFX1000 not cleaning the pool properly?
    • K
      keithflemingAug 15, 2025
If your Polygroup Water Pump isn't cleaning the pool well (e.g., cloudy or green water), several factors could be at play. First, ensure your chlorine level is between 1.0 and 1.6 ppm and your pH level is between 7.3 and 7.8. Check the Filter Cartridge; it may need cleaning or replacement. Inspect the Filter Cartridge for damage, replacing it if necessary. Also, check for obstructions at the Strainer Basket, Filter Cartridge, Hose, and Return Fitting. Consider having your pool water tested by a pool supplies store, as you might need additional chemicals. Finally, if the pool water is too dirty, clean the pool and filter more frequently; chemicals are essential for maintaining clean pool water.

What to do if there is no or slow water flow from the Polygroup Water Pump Return Fitting?
    • S
      Stephanie MorrisonAug 22, 2025
If you're experiencing no or slow water flow from the Return Fitting of your Polygroup Water Pump, consider the following: ensure the water level is between the MIN and MAX lines on the Skimmer Seal Ring. Check for any blockages at the Strainer Basket, Filter Cartridge, Hose, and Return Fitting. Also, the Filter Cartridge may be too dirty, so clean or replace it. Finally, dirt may be blocking the Motor Rotor; refer to the pump servicing instructions to clean it.

How to fix water leakage at my Polygroup Water Pump?
    • P
      pamelagrayAug 30, 2025
To address water leakage in your Polygroup Water Pump, consider these points: * If the leakage is at the hose connections with the Skimmer Canister and/or 90° Elbow, ensure the Hose Clamps are properly tightened over both the Hose and the Hose Connection O-Rings. Adjust and retighten if needed, and check the Hose for cracks or holes, replacing it if necessary. * If the leakage is at the bottom of the Canister, refer to STEP 3: Pump Reassembly/Replacement, p. 15-16. Ensure the Canister Gasket sits correctly in the groove, the Pump alignment is correct, and the Motor Seal Nut is not cross-threaded. * If the leakage is between the Canister and the pool wall, ensure the Skimmer Gasket Rubber Seal is installed properly, following SETUP INSTRUCTIONS (3) & (4), p. 9.
