If your Porter-Cable Portable Generator engine won't start, there are several potential reasons: * The fuel or oil level might be low. Add fuel or oil. * The ignition switch might be in the "Off" position. Turn it to the "ON" position. * The spark plug could be faulty. Replace the spark plug. * The choke might be in the wrong position. Adjust the choke accordingly. * The fuel shut-off valve might be closed. Open the fuel shut-off valve. * The unit might be loaded during start-up. Remove the load from the unit. * The spark plug wire might be loose. Attach the wire to the spark plug.
