FIGURE H
If the two mat hoists are mounted at different elevations, a longer actuator bar is
supplied to mount at the higher elevation. A telescoping feature is included to
precisely adjust the limit after the load bar is in place. (See Figure I.)
FIGURE I
8. MOUNTING THE CONTROL BOX
The exact location of the control box is to be determined by the architect. Ideally, the
control box is to be located mid-point between the two hoist units (on the closest wall),
and a minimum of 12’-0” above the finished floor. On wall mounted Mat Mover
®
units,
the control panel must be clear of the load bar travel area (see Figure J). Once the
location has been selected, mark the four (4) anchor locations on the wall to match the
four (4) holes on the back of the control box. Do not attempt to drill the holes with the
box temporarily held in place. Dust and small particles may fall into the control panel,
creating unnecessary problems.
