What to do if my Poulan Pro 330 Chainsaw engine will not start?
- BblackburnrichardJul 26, 2025
If your Poulan Pro Chainsaw engine won't start or runs only briefly, several factors could be at play. First, ensure the ignition switch is set to 'ON'. If the engine is flooded, refer to the 'Difficult Starting' section in the Operation Section. Also, check if the fuel tank is empty and refill it with the correct fuel mixture. A faulty spark plug can also prevent starting, so install a new one. Lastly, the fuel might not be reaching the carburetor; inspect the fuel filter for dirt and replace if necessary, and check the fuel line for kinks or splits, repairing or replacing as needed.
