5/8” deep socket
HPU Reservoir Replacement (continued)
STEP 3 Insert Filter Screens (D) into a 5/8” Deep Socket and place the Socket/Filter Screen over the
Pump Suction Tube. Ensure that the rim of Filter Screens (D) are evenly aligned with the tube and
tap them squarely with a Rubber Mallet. FIG 2
NOTE: Be sure to not drive the filter on so far that the pump suction tube bursts through the bottom of the screen.
STEP 4 Drain the old fluid out of the Reservoir Tank through a Paint Filter into a clean container. The fluid
can be reused if not contaminated.
NOTE: If fluid is contaminated by water,
dirt, or other contaminates, the
fluid must be replaced.
