Pump Valve Replacement (Continued)
CM1 & CM2 Pumps
REPLACE PUMP VALVES (Continued):
STEP 5 Lift HPU out of Reservoir and lay it upside down on a clean rag to catch any fluid that may drip from
hydraulic fittings. FIG 4
NOTE: If not replacing Hydraulic Fluid, place a clean rag or towel over the Reservoir to keep debris out.
STEP 6 If replacing Hydraulic Fluid, empty reservoir, wipe inside clean with a dry towel, and fill to “MAX” line on
Reservoir. FIG. 5
NOTE: If you did not receive Hydraulic Fluid but tank is below “MIN” line or fluid is dirty, contact Customer
Service at 1 (813) 689-9932 Option 2
STEP 7 Remove old Pump Valves FIG 4:
• DOWN TRV: Loosen and remove the Valve AND Valve Housing using a 9/16” Wrench.
• UP/DOWN PRV’s: Loosen Hex Nuts using an 11/16” Wrench and loosen valves by hand. If a
valve is stuck, loosen with a 7/16” wrench.
• UP TRV: This valve WILL NOT be replaced. DO NOT loosen Up TRV
NOTE: Sportsman Models Do Not have an Up TRV.
IMPORTANT! Check to see if any springs, eyelets, or ball-bearings are stuck in Valve Ports on pump. Remove
any if found.
