    • M
      Mr. Matthew KeithAug 22, 2025

    • B
      Brittney GonzalezAug 25, 2025
If the engine electric starter on your Power smart Snow Blower won't crank the engine, first ensure the extension cord is properly attached to the electric starter terminal by re-inserting it. Why Power smart DB7659-22 engine runs erratic, stalls or seems low on power?
    • S
      Sarah AndersonAug 27, 2025
If your Power smart Snow Blower engine runs erratically, stalls, or seems low on power, there are several things to check. First, make sure the CHOKE lever is in the RUN position. If there's water or old fuel in the tank, empty it and refill with fresh, clean gasoline. Also, inspect for a blocked or clogged fuel system and clean it if necessary. A carburetor in need of cleaning can also cause these issues, so clean the fuel system and carburetor. Ensure the spark plug wire is securely connected and tightened. A faulty spark plug can also cause problems, requiring cleaning, gap adjustment, or replacement. Check for a plugged gas cap vent hole and clear any ice or snow. Finally, verify that the engine oil level is correct, ensuring it's not overfilled or too low.

Why is my Power smart DB7659-22 engine overheating?
    • J
      Jennifer LinAug 30, 2025
If your Power smart Snow Blower engine overheats, it could be due to a couple of reasons. First, check for any obstructions that might be restricting the cooling airflow to the engine and remove them. Another common cause is a low oil level. To check, use the dipstick. If no oil is visible, use the LOWER fill plug to check the oil level before adding more. The oil should be visible up to the top two threads of this plug. Be careful not to overfill. Remember to use 5W-30, 4-stroke automotive detergent oil with an API SERVICE rating of SJ or higher.

Why Power smart DB7659-22 Snow Blower has excessive vibration?
    • J
      Jessica LambertSep 1, 2025
If your Power smart Snow Blower is vibrating excessively, immediately stop the engine and disconnect the spark plug wire. Then, thoroughly inspect the machine for any loose or damaged parts, tightening all bolts and nuts you find. Pay close attention to the auger blades and impeller, checking for any damage or foreign objects that might be restricting their rotation. If the vibration persists after these checks, discontinue operation and seek assistance from a service center or Amerisun customer service.

Why Power smart Snow Blower engine smokes excessively?
    • N
      Natalie WatkinsSep 3, 2025
If your Power smart Snow Blower engine smokes excessively, it could be due to the engine oil being overfilled. Drain the oil to the proper level, ensuring it's not above the top two threads of the LOWER fill plug. If the problem persists, it may indicate an internal engine issue.

Why Power smart Snow Blower drive speed control stuck in gear?
    • L
      Laura MartinezSep 8, 2025
If your Power smart Snow Blower drive speed control is stuck in gear or won't change gears, start by inspecting the speed control lever and cables for damage, looseness, or missing parts. Repair or replace parts as needed, ensuring the pivot stud spring tension is correct and adjusting the pivot nut spring tension. Also, check the speed control cables for damage or binding, repairing, adjusting, or replacing them as necessary. Finally, inspect the lower control lever and its mechanical connection to the friction drive wheel and slide shaft for damage or binding.

Why Power smart Snow Blower drive speed control allows only one direction?
    • K
      Katherine ChambersSep 10, 2025
If your Power smart Snow Blower drive speed control only allows movement in one direction, either forward or reverse, it's likely due to misadjusted, loose, damaged, or binding speed control cables. Inspect the speed control lever and cables for any damage, looseness, or missing parts, and repair or replace them as needed. Adjust the drive speed control cables.

Why Power smart Snow Blower auger rotating when control handle released?
    • C
      caseylisaSep 12, 2025
If the auger on your Power smart Snow Blower continues to rotate even after you've released the auger control handle, it could be due to a couple of reasons. First, check if the auger cable tension is too tight, causing the belt to be too tight as well; adjust the auger cable tension. Another potential cause is a broken or missing auger tension pulley arm return spring; replace the tension arm return spring in this case.

Why Power smart Snow Blower drive engaged when control handle released?
    • A
      Andrew WeberSep 14, 2025
If the drive on your Power smart Snow Blower engages even when the drive control handle is released, it could be due to a binding drive control cable that won't release. In this case, repair or replace the cable as necessary. Another possibility is a broken or missing friction drive wheel return spring, which would also need to be replaced; adjust the cable as necessary after replacing the spring.
