Workout Options

To start exercising immediately

Use the QUICKSTART key to begin exercising immediately in the Manual Program.

Press a PROGRAMS key to view and select from available exercise programs.

To begin exercising using personal preferences

Press the USER key to start a session with saved personal preferences.

Choosing QUICKSTART

QUICKSTART applies the following defaults

Manual program, 30 minutes, 150 lb weight, and 0 age are default settings for QUICKSTART.

Selecting a Program

Enter your weight (1-350) and then your age (1-99)

Prompts for weight and age entry for program customization and accurate tracking.

Hold onto a handrail. The ramp automatically changes...

Ramp adjusts to program settings. Advised to hold handrail for stability during adjustments.

Use the CROSSRAMP and RESISTANCE arrow keys...

Allows manual adjustment of ramp incline and resistance during the selected program.

Selecting a User Key

Press OK to select the program being displayed or choose another program...

Selects the current program or navigates to other programs via the PROGRAMS keypad.

The display prompts you for a workout time.

Prompts for workout time entry using number keypad or navigational keys.

Begin pedaling.

Initiates the workout session by starting to pedal after setting parameters.

Cooling Down After a Workout

To prematurely end the cool-down period, do the following:

Steps to end the cool-down period early: grasp handrail, press RESET twice.

Pausing During a Workout or the Cool-Down Period

To pause, stop pedaling.

Stopping pedaling pauses the workout. Default pause time limit is 10 minutes.

To resume exercising from pause mode, begin pedaling.

Resumes the workout by starting to pedal again after a pause.

Ending a Workout

Instructions for completing workout, viewing statistics, and powering down the unit.

Programs

Choosing a Program

Guides selection based on goals: beginner, intermediate, or advanced fitness levels.

Changing Programs in Mid-session

Allows changing programs during a session; statistics transfer. Some programs are not transferable.
