The unit includes components which must be inspected or maintained.
In your own interest please follow the specified intervals of inspection and maintenance
work as well as the working sequences.
• Inspections can be carried out by the user of the system!
• Only a qualified installer should maintain and repair the system!
Inspektion and maintenance of the McRain Plus:
Floating valve
Inspection: Check for correct opening and shutting (sealing) and free movement of the
floating part, as well as proper sealing of the level sensor.
Time: every 6 months
Carried out by: user / owner
Service
Inspection: Exchange the level sensor
Time: Only necessary if faulty
Carried out by: Installation company / manufacturer
Controls
Inspection: Testing the functions (chapter 4 and.5)
Time: every 6 months
Carried out by: user / owner
Pump including Flow control
Inspection: pressure loss, leakages, pumps and flow noises, as well as the operations tests.
For this press the key “Restart” on the flow control unit. (chapter.5)
Time: every 6 months
Carried out by: user / owner
Service
Inspection:
replace mechanical seals/bearings
Time every 10,000 operating hours or 10 years, or by signs of wearing
Carried out by: Installation company or manufacturer
Maintenance
Floating switch
Inspection:
check correct installation (see installation instruction Mc Rain Plus chapter8)
check cables for wear and damage
Time: in connection with the control of the collecting tanks
