19/24 Operation Mc Rain Plus

Procedures for fault corrections
1. Disconnect McRain Plus from the mains (unplug the connection from mains).
2. Clear the appropriate fault, see “what is to be done and when” (below).
3. Re-connect to mains.
4. Set McRain Plus to required operating procedures.
What has to be done and when?
The McRain Plus does not operate at all?
The plug is pulled out?
Re-insert the plug
There is no water in the required feeding tanks?
The pump is running dry?
Take the air out of the pump, (see chapter 10 in installation instructions MC Rain Plus).
The suction pipe “special suction set” is stuck to the cistern wall. Check the guide of the suction
pipe, the suction filter must ALWAYS be under water.
The float switch is fitted too far down in the collecting tank?
Check the installation of the float switch (see chapter 8 in “installation instructions Mc Rain
Plus).”
The cable between the McRain Plus and the collecting tank is twisted/ kinked?
Check the cable of the float switch, if applicable check extension cable.
The cable of the float switch is not connected properly to the McRain Plus?
Test the cable connection to the WAGO terminal –see chapter 8 in “installation instructions Mc
Rain Plus”.
The mains supply is activated?
There is not enough mains water stored.
Check the mains supply and floating valve. If the mains tap is turned off, turn water tap on.
The McRain Plus does not work under mains operation?
The float switch is installed too low in the collecting tank. Check the installation of the float
switch – (see chapter 8 in “installation instructions Mc Rain Plus”)
The cable between the McRain Plus and the collecting tank is twisted/ kinked or damaged?
Check the cable of the float switch, if applicable check extension cable.
The cable of the float switch is not connected properly to the McRain Plus?
Test the cable connection to the WAGO terminal –
(see chapter 8 in “installation instructions
Mc Rain Plus”).
