General information
The product is developed with the sate-of-the-art technology, put together with great care and
undergoes a continuous quality control. The enclosed instructions should make
it easier, taking
into account the installation instructions, to get to know the system and
to organise the
possibilities of operation. The running and installation instructions contain important advice for the
safe, proper and economical way to operate the
equipment. By following these instructions the
reliability and life of the equipment will be
improved and problems avoided.
The operating and installation instructions do not take into account specific local requirements or
regulations, these are the responsibility of the owner/user.
The equipment should not be operated over and above the technical specifications for the pump
capacity, pumped head, temperature or other operating specifications.
The name plate states the manufacturers number, the most important running data and
work/serial number. These are required for queries, ordering and purchasing of spare parts.
If additional information is required, advice or in the case of damage, please contact your
installation partner or supplier.
Safety
These operating instructions contain basic pointers that should be observed during the
installation and servicing (for setting-up see installation instructions).Therefore the owner/user
must in all cases read the running and installation instructions.The installation, commissioning
and instructions should be on hand at all times. The safety measures and all main points,
special instructions and security under this heading are to be followed at all times.
The instructions that are fitted to the equipment must also be followed and legible at all times.
Personal Qualifications and Training
The service, maintenance and inspection personnel must have the necessary qualifications to
carry out the work. Responsibilities, accountability and the supervision of the personnel must be
delegated by the owner in detail.
If the installation personnel are not experienced in the knowledge for the installation, then
they should be trained beforehand. This can be done, if necessary, by the manufacturer or
agent. The owner/user should ensure that the installers are aware of the contents of the
installation
procedures.
Dangers of not following the safety procedures
If the safety procedures are not followed damage and injury can be caused to people, the
environment and the equipment. Ignoring the safety instructions will negate any claims for loss
or replacement of goods. In particular ignoring the instructions can lead to:
Breakdown of important functions
Breakdown of described methods for service and maintenance
Danger to people due to electrical and mechanical causes.
Security conscious work
Existing national regulations on the accident prevention as well as possible internal working
regulations, company regulations and safety regulations are to be followed.
