STORE THE GAS CYLINDER OUTDOORS IN A WELL VENTILATED AREA OR IN A STORAGE AREA COMPLIANT WITH AS1596.
CAUTION
NEVER assemble or operate the unit on unstable or uneven ground. Always operate in open and well-ventilated areas.
NEVER operate inside a tent, caravan, camper trailer vehicle or boat.
NEVER leave the unit unattended whilst operating.
NEVER open the control panel or disassemble unit.
This appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons unless they have been adequately supervised by a
responsible person to ensure that they can use the appliance safely. Young children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the appliance. This appliance is to be installed as per local regulations and in accordance with
AS5601/AG601.
INSTALLATION OF THE APPLIANCE
Install the appliance on a firm, horizontal surface. To level the appliance, use a spirit level or a vessel containing water,
if necessary.
The flue is located at the rear and exits through the top right hand side of the appliance, care must be taken not to
obstruct or block this flue outlet. The flue allows heat to escape from the absorption system and if blocked could
cause damage to the appliance.
Avoid installing the appliance in direct sunlight or near any source of heat.
The distance between the rear of the appliance and a wall should not be less than 10 cm, and the minimum ventilating
space from the sides of the appliance should never be less than 5 cm.
The location should be protected from rain and splashing.
A good level of air circulation is required to ensure maximum performance, do not obstruct the ventilation grids of the
upper, lower or rear surface of the appliance.
Complying with the above will ensure efficient an economical cooling.
Before first use of the appliance, clean the inside and the cover of the appliance with warm water.
Never use an abrasive product.
COOLING PERFORMANCE
The cooling system is developed and manufactured to perform to the Australian Standards – AS4555.
RECOMMENDATION
Pre-cool the refrigerator by running it on the mains, before starting the journey.
OPERATION WITH 240V AC
Never use another source of energy at the same time (battery, liquefied petroleum gas LPG)
Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the operating voltage specified on the label (on the rear of the appliance)
If the electrical specifications are correct, push the electrical plug into an earthed wall socket which is wired according
to the specifications.
START-UP
Turn the thermostat knob clockwise to the MAX position. The effects of the cooling
process (frost on the evaporator) may only become visible after about an hour
The thermostat enables the temperature of the cooler to be adjustable
After a sufficient cooling period (approximately 5 hours), the thermostat can be
set to an intermediate position. The selected temperature is regulated
automatically by the thermostat.
