How to turn on Pro-Form PFTL13116.1?
    • J
      Jennifer LawrenceAug 8, 2025
First, ensure the power cord is plugged into a surge suppressor, and that the surge suppressor is plugged into a properly grounded outlet. After plugging in, verify that the key is inserted into the console. Also, check the power switch on the treadmill frame near the power cord; if it's tripped (protrudes), wait five minutes, then press it back in to reset it.

How to fix a Pro-Form PFTL13116.1 walking belt that is off-center or slips?
    • A
      Ashley MasonAug 21, 2025
To fix a walking belt that is off-center, first remove the key and unplug the power cord. If the belt has shifted left, turn the left idler roller screw clockwise 1/2 turn; if it has shifted right, turn it counterclockwise 1/2 turn. Be careful not to overtighten the belt. Then, plug in the power cord, insert the key, and walk on the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat until centered. If the belt slips, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Turn both idler roller screws clockwise 1/4 of a turn. The belt is correctly tightened when you can lift each edge 2 to 3 inches off the platform. Then, plug in the power cord, insert the key, and walk on the treadmill for a few minutes.

Why does my Pro-Form Treadmill walking belt slow down when I walk on it?
    • J
      James ZimmermanAug 27, 2025
If the walking belt slows down when you walk on it, it might be overtightened. Remove the key and unplug the power cord. Using a hex key, turn both idler roller screws counterclockwise 1/4 of a turn. When properly tightened, you should be able to lift each edge of the belt 2 to 3 inches off the platform. Ensure the walking belt remains centered. Then, plug in the power cord, insert the key, and walk on the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat until the walking belt is properly tightened.
