How to fix Pro-Form PFTL13820.2 Treadmill if the power does not turn on?
    • D
      Dr. Nancy NicholsonAug 7, 2025
If your Pro-Form Treadmill isn't powering on, ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a surge suppressor, which itself should be connected to a properly grounded outlet. If you're using an AFCI-equipped outlet and the circuit breaker trips, consider purchasing an arc filter. Also, verify that the key is fully inserted into the console. Finally, check the power switch on the treadmill frame; if it's protruding, reset it by waiting five minutes, then pressing it back in.

How to fix Pro-Form Treadmill walking belt that is off-center or slips?
    • M
      Matthew JonesAug 18, 2025
If the walking belt on your Pro-Form Treadmill is off-center or slips, first remove the key and unplug the power cord. For an off-center belt shifted to the left, turn the left idler roller screw clockwise 1/2 turn using the hex key. If it's shifted to the right, turn the left idler roller screw counterclockwise 1/2 turn. If the belt slips, turn both idler roller screws clockwise 1/4 turn.

What to do if Pro-Form PFTL13820.2 console displays do not function properly?
    • J
      jeromespencerAug 25, 2025
If the displays on your Pro-Form Treadmill console aren't working correctly, and the console doesn't boot up or freezes, try resetting the console to the factory default settings. This requires two people. First, switch the power off. Then, locate the reset opening on the back of the console, and use a bent paper clip to press and hold the reset button until the console turns on. Keep holding the button until the console restarts. After the console turns on, check for firmware updates.

Why does Pro-Form Treadmill walking belt slows when walked on?
    • E
      Elizabeth RodriguezAug 31, 2025
If the walking belt on your Pro-Form Treadmill slows down when you walk on it, it might be overtightened. Remove the key and unplug the power cord. Then, use a hex key to turn both idler roller screws counterclockwise 1/4 of a turn. Also, remember that your treadmill belt is coated with high-performance lubricant, so avoid using silicone spray or other substances unless advised by an authorized service representative.
