What to do if Pro-Form Treadmill turns off during use?

  If your Pro-Form Treadmill's power turns off during use, first check the power switch and reset it if it has tripped by waiting five minutes and then pressing it back in. Also, make sure the power cord is securely plugged in; if it is, unplug it, wait five minutes, and plug it back in. Another solution is to remove and reinsert the key from the console. If the treadmill still won't run after these steps, please consult the front cover of the manual.

  If your Pro-Form Treadmill's power does not turn on, ensure the power cord is plugged into a surge suppressor, and the surge suppressor is plugged into a properly grounded outlet. Use a single-outlet surge suppressor meeting the specifications on page 11 of the manual, avoiding GFCI-equipped outlets. Also, make sure the key is inserted into the console after plugging in the power cord. Finally, check the power switch on the treadmill frame; if it's tripped (protruding), wait five minutes, then press it back in to reset.

Why does Pro-Form TRAILRUNNER 2.0 walking belt slow down?

  If the walking belt on your Pro-Form Treadmill slows down when you walk on it, use only a single-outlet surge suppressor that meets the specifications described on page 11 of the manual. If the walking belt is overtightened, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Then, using the hex key, turn both idler roller bolts counterclockwise, 1/4 of a turn. If the walking belt still slows when walked on, please see the front cover of this manual.

  If the walking belt on your Pro-Form Treadmill is off-center, remove the key and unplug the power cord. If the belt has shifted left, turn the left idler roller bolt clockwise 1/2 turn using the hex key. If it has shifted right, turn the left idler roller bolt counterclockwise 1/2 turn. If the walking belt slips, first remove the key and unplug the power cord, then turn both idler roller bolts clockwise 1/4 turn with the hex key.

What to do if Pro-Form Treadmill console doesn't display speed correctly?

  If the console of your Pro-Form Treadmill does not display speed and distance correctly, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Place the treadmill in the storage position. Locate the Reed Switch and the Magnet on the left side of the Pulley. Turn the Pulley Top until the Magnet is aligned with the Reed Switch, ensuring a gap of about 1/8 inch (3 mm). If needed, loosen the indicated #8 x 3/4" Tek Screw, with the six #8 x 3/4" Screws, and run the treadmill for a few minutes to check the speed reading.

  If the iFit Live mode on your Pro-Form Treadmill is not functioning correctly, ensure that the treadmill has the most current firmware available, as described in step 8 on page 23 of the manual.
