What to do if burner(s) does not light after ODS/pilot is lit in Procom Gas Heater?
    • J
      Justin MorrowAug 18, 2025
If the burner(s) on your Procom Gas Heater do not light after the ODS/pilot is lit, the burner orifice may be clogged, so try cleaning it or replacing it. The burner orifice diameter may also be too small, in which case you should replace the burner orifice. It's also possible that the inlet gas pressure is too low, so contact your local gas supplier.

What to do if there is no spark at ODS/pilot when ignitor button is pressed in Procom ML150HPA Gas Heater?
    • T
      Thomas NguyenAug 20, 2025
If the ignitor button is pressed, but there's no spark at the ODS/pilot on your Procom Gas Heater, several issues could be the cause. The ignitor electrode might be positioned incorrectly or broken, in which case you should replace the pilot assembly. It's also possible that the ignitor electrode isn't connected to the ignitor cable, suggesting the cable needs replacement. A pinched or wet ignitor cable can also prevent a spark; free the cable from any obstructions and keep it dry. If the ignitor cable is broken, replace it. Lastly, a bad piezo ignitor will also prevent a spark, so consider replacing it.

Why does the flame go out when control knob is released on Procom ML150HPA Gas Heater?
    • B
      Billy BurkeAug 22, 2025
If your Procom Gas Heater's ODS/pilot lights, but the flame goes out when you release the control knob, make sure the control knob is fully pressed in and held for at least 30 seconds after the pilot lights. Ensure the equipment shutoff valve is completely open. If these steps don't work, check the thermocouple connection at the control valve and hand tighten it until it is snug, plus an additional 1/4 turn. The pilot flame might not be touching the thermocouple due to low gas pressure or a dirty/partially clogged ODS/pilot. In this case, contact your local gas company or clean/replace the ODS/pilot. If the thermocouple or control valve is damaged, replace them.

      jbrownAug 26, 2025
If you smell gas when your Procom Gas Heater's control knob is in the OFF position, there may be a gas leak or a defective control valve. Locate and correct any gas leaks. If there are no apparent leaks, consider replacing the control valve.

      Teresa LoganAug 27, 2025

What to do if there is a spark but no ignition in Procom Gas Heater?
    • D
      Dana PhillipsAug 30, 2025
If the ignitor button is pressed and there is a spark at the ODS/pilot, but no ignition occurs in your Procom Gas Heater, first ensure the gas supply is turned on and the equipment shutoff valve is open. Confirm the control knob is fully pressed in while pressing the ignitor button and is in the PILOT position. If there's air in the gas lines from a recent installation, continue holding down the control knob and repeat the igniting operation until the air is removed. A clogged ODS/pilot can also prevent ignition; clean or replace the ODS/pilot assembly. Check the inlet gas pressure or replace the inlet gas regulator if the pressure is incorrect or the regulator is damaged. Finally, if using propane, check for a depleted gas supply and contact your local propane company if necessary.

Why does Procom ML150HPA shut off in use (ODS operates)?
    • B
      Brian RodriguezSep 1, 2025
If your Procom Gas Heater shuts off while in use and the ODS (Oxygen Depletion Sensor) operates, it could be due to insufficient fresh air. Try opening a window or door for ventilation. Low line pressure may also cause this issue, so contact your local gas supplier. A partially clogged ODS/pilot might also be the cause; consider cleaning the ODS/pilot.

    • W
      wilsonrobertSep 4, 2025
If the burner(s) on your Procom Gas Heater experiences delayed ignition, it could be due to low manifold pressure, so contact your local gas supplier. Alternatively, the burner orifice might be clogged, so clean or replace it.

    • R
      Raymond FreemanSep 7, 2025
If your Procom Gas Heater's burner is backfiring during combustion, the burner orifice may be clogged or damaged, so try cleaning or replacing it. The burner itself could also be damaged, requiring replacement. A damaged gas regulator may also be the cause, so consider replacing it.

Why burner plaque(s) does not glow in Procom ML150HPA Gas Heater?
    • K
      Kara BrockSep 9, 2025
If the burner plaque(s) on your Procom Gas Heater does not glow, the plaque might be damaged, requiring you to replace the burner.
