What to do if my Procom Stove ODS/pilot lights but flame goes out when control knob is released?
    • S
      Steven DavisAug 20, 2025
If the ODS/pilot lights, but the flame goes out when you release the control knob on your Procom Stove, ensure the control knob is fully pressed in and held for at least 30 seconds after the pilot lights. Also, make sure the equipment shutoff valve is fully open. Check the thermocouple connection at the control valve, hand tightening it until snug, then give it an additional 1/4 turn. If the pilot flame isn't touching the thermocouple, or the thermocouple or control valve are damaged, consider replacing them.

Why won't the burner(s) light after ODS/pilot is lit on my Procom QNSD250T Stove?
    • J
      joneseugeneAug 22, 2025
If the burner(s) on your Procom Stove won't light after the ODS/pilot is lit, the burner orifice might be clogged or the burner orifice diameter might be too small. Consider cleaning or replacing the burner orifice. Also, it's possible that the inlet gas pressure is too low, in which case you should contact your local gas supplier.

What to do if there is a gas odor even when the control knob is in the OFF position in my Procom QNSD250T Stove?
    • G
      Gregory RichardsAug 25, 2025
If you notice a gas odor from your Procom Stove even when the control knob is in the OFF position, there may be a gas leak or the control valve could be defective. You should locate and correct any gas leaks. If there are no apparent leaks, the control valve may need to be replaced.

What to do if my Procom QNSD250T heater shuts off in use (ODS operates)?
    • C
      Craig RobbinsAug 26, 2025
If your Procom Stove heater shuts off while in use and the ODS (Oxygen Depletion Sensor) operates, it could be due to insufficient fresh air. Try opening a window or door for ventilation. It could also be due to low line pressure, in which case you should contact your local gas supplier. Another possibility is that the ODS/pilot is partially clogged, and you should clean it.
  • B
    Brandon WilliamsAug 27, 2025
Why is there a high yellow flame during burner combustion in my Procom QNSD250T Stove?
    • C
      Catherine DaviesAug 27, 2025
A high yellow flame during burner combustion in your Procom Stove indicates that there isn't enough air. Check the burner for any dirt or debris and clean it if necessary. A defective gas regulator could also be the cause, and it may need to be replaced. Additionally, low inlet gas pressure could be the issue, so contact your local gas supplier.

Why is there a gas odor during combustion in my Procom Stove?
    • J
      johnsonjacobAug 29, 2025
If you smell gas during combustion with your Procom Stove, there might be foreign matter between the control valve and burner. Disassemble the gas tubing to remove any foreign matter. Also, there could be a gas leak, so locate and correct all leaks.

What to do if my Procom Stove has delayed ignition of burner(s)?
    • A
      acarterAug 31, 2025
If your Procom Stove experiences delayed ignition of the burner(s), the manifold pressure may be too low, so contact your local gas supplier. Another possible cause is a clogged burner orifice, which should be cleaned or replaced.

Why won't my Procom Stove ignitor spark at ODS/pilot when the ignitor button is pressed?
    • M
      Matthew HayesSep 2, 2025
If there's no spark at the ODS/pilot when you press the ignitor button on your Procom Stove, the ignitor electrode might be positioned incorrectly or broken, in which case you should replace the electrode. Also, the ignitor electrode might not be connected to the ignitor cable, or the cable could be pinched, wet, or broken, so replace the ignitor cable if needed. A bad piezo ignitor or a low battery could also be the cause, so replace those if necessary.

What to do if my Procom QNSD250T burner is backfiring during combustion?
    • S
      Sara TranSep 4, 2025
If your Procom Stove burner is backfiring during combustion, the burner orifice may be clogged or damaged; in this case, clean or replace the burner orifice. The burner itself could also be damaged, so contact your dealer or customer service. Lastly, the gas regulator might be damaged, and you should replace it.

Why won't my Procom QNSD250T ignite at ODS/pilot when there is a spark?
    • O
      oharrisonSep 6, 2025
If your Procom Stove produces a spark at the ODS/pilot but doesn't ignite, ensure the gas supply is turned on and the equipment shutoff valve is open. Make sure the control knob is fully pressed in while pressing the ignitor button and is in the PILOT position. If it's a new installation or there's been a recent gas interruption, air in the gas lines could be the issue; continue holding down the control knob and repeat the igniting operation until the air is removed. The ODS/pilot may be clogged and needs cleaning, or the inlet gas pressure might be incorrect, or the inlet regulator is damaged. If using propane, the gas supply may be depleted.
