How to fix a Procom Stove when there is no spark at ODS/pilot?
    • O
      Olivia ThompsonAug 20, 2025
If the ignitor button is pressed, but there is no spark at the ODS/pilot of your Procom Stove, several issues could be the cause. It could be due to the ignitor electrode being positioned incorrectly or broken, in which case it should be replaced. The ignitor electrode might not be connected to the ignitor cable, or the cable could be pinched, wet, or broken, requiring replacement or correction. A bad piezo ignitor or a low battery could also be the culprit, and replacing these components may resolve the issue.

What to do if Procom Stove burner(s) does not light after ODS/pilot is lit?
    • O
      orodriguezAug 22, 2025
If your Procom Stove burner(s) does not light after the ODS/pilot is lit, it may be due to a clogged burner orifice, which can be cleaned or replaced. Alternatively, the burner orifice diameter may be too small, requiring replacement. Insufficient inlet gas pressure could also be the issue, in which case you should contact your local gas supplier.

Why does Procom Stove pilot light but flame goes out?
    • I
      ialvarezAug 25, 2025
If the ODS/pilot lights on your Procom Stove, but the flame goes out when the control knob is released, ensure the control knob is fully pressed in and held for 30 seconds after lighting. Check that the equipment shutoff valve is fully open. If the thermocouple connection is loose at the control valve, hand tighten it until snug, then tighten an additional 1/4 turn. Low gas pressure or a dirty/clogged ODS/pilot can also cause this issue; contact your gas company or clean/replace the ODS/pilot assembly. A damaged thermocouple or control valve may also be the cause, requiring replacement.

What to do if Procom Stove has spark but no ignition?
    • R
      Robert SandersAug 27, 2025
If the ignitor button is pressed and there is a spark at the ODS/pilot, but no ignition occurs on your Procom Stove, several factors could be responsible. Check that the gas supply is turned on and the equipment shutoff valve is open. Ensure the control knob is fully pressed in while pressing the ignitor button and is in the PILOT position. If there is air in the gas lines due to a new installation or recent gas interruption, continue holding down the control knob and repeat the igniting operation until the air is removed. A clogged ODS/pilot should be cleaned or replaced. Also, verify the inlet gas pressure and replace the inlet gas regulator if damaged. For propane models, a depleted gas supply could be the issue, requiring you to contact your local propane/LP gas company.

Why is there a gas odor during combustion in my Procom Stove?
    • L
      Lindsay CoxAug 28, 2025
If you notice a gas odor during combustion in your Procom Stove, it could be due to foreign matter between the control valve and burner, which requires disassembling the gas tubing to remove the matter. Alternatively, it could be due to a gas leak, which needs to be located and corrected.

Why is there delayed ignition of burner(s) in my Procom Stove?
    • J
      Justin BushAug 30, 2025
Delayed ignition of burner(s) in your Procom Stove may be due to low manifold pressure, in which case you should contact your local gas supplier. It could also be caused by a clogged burner orifice, which you can clean or replace.

Why is there a high yellow flame during burner combustion in my Procom Stove?
    • A
      alexa14Sep 1, 2025
A high yellow flame during burner combustion in your Procom Stove could be due to insufficient air, so check the burner for dirt and debris and clean it if necessary. It may also indicate a defective gas regulator, which should be replaced. Additionally, low inlet gas pressure could be the cause, requiring you to contact your local gas supplier.

What causes burner backfiring during combustion in a Procom Stove?
    • J
      John HamiltonSep 3, 2025
Burner backfiring during combustion in your Procom Stove can occur if the burner orifice is clogged or damaged, requiring cleaning or replacement. The burner itself may also be damaged, in which case you should contact your dealer or customer service. A damaged gas regulator can also cause backfiring, and it should be replaced.

Why does my Procom Stove produce unwanted odors?
    • K
      Karen YoderSep 5, 2025
If your Procom Stove heater produces unwanted odors, it may be burning vapors from paint, hair spray, glues, etc. Ensure the room is well-ventilated and avoid using odor-causing products while the heater is running. A gas leak could also be the source, requiring you to locate and correct all leaks. Alternatively, low fuel supply could be the issue, and you should refill the supply tank (for Propane/LP models).

Why does my Procom Stove heater shut off in use?
    • J
      jonesphilipSep 7, 2025
If your Procom Stove shuts off during use (ODS operates), it could be due to insufficient fresh air. Try opening a window and/or door for ventilation. Low line pressure could also be the cause, so contact your local gas supplier. Additionally, a partially clogged ODS/pilot may be the issue, requiring cleaning.
