    • K
      Kathryn CortezSep 9, 2025

Why does my Procom Stove make a whistling noise when lit?
    • K
      Keith GarciaSep 12, 2025
If your Procom Stove produces a whistling noise when the burner is lit, try turning the control knob to the low position and let it warm up for a minute. Air in the gas line could also be the cause; operate the burner until the air is removed from the line, and have the gas line checked by your local gas supplier. Blocked air passageways on the heater or a dirty/partially clogged burner orifice can also cause this noise, so ensure minimum installation clearances are observed and clean or replace the burner orifice.

    Debra LeeSep 13, 2025
Why is there white powder residue forming near my Procom Stove?
    • L
      Linda JacobsSep 13, 2025
If a white powder residue forms within the burner box or on adjacent walls or furniture near your Procom Stove, it is likely due to vapors from furniture polish, wax, carpet cleaners, etc., turning into white powder residue when heated. Turn off the heater when using such products.

Why does my Procom Stove make a clicking/ticking noise after being lit or shut off?
    • G
      George SmithSep 15, 2025
This is common with most heaters. If the noise is excessive, contact qualified service technician.

    Christopher WoodSep 17, 2025
Why is there a gas odor even when Procom Stove is off?
    • K
      Kayla DeckerSep 18, 2025
If a gas odor exists even when the control knob is in the OFF position on your Procom Stove, it could indicate a gas leak, which requires locating and correcting all leaks. Alternatively, the control valve may be defective and needs replacement.
