If your ProForm Treadmill turns off during use, try these steps: First, check the circuit breaker located on the treadmill frame near the power cord. If it has tripped, wait five minutes, then press the switch back in. Next, ensure the power cord is securely plugged in; if it is, unplug it, wait five minutes, and plug it back in. Also, remove and reinsert the key fully into the console. If the treadmill still won't run after these steps, further assistance is needed.

If your ProForm Treadmill power does not turn on, ensure the power cord is plugged into a surge suppressor, and the surge suppressor is plugged into a properly grounded outlet, using a single-outlet surge suppressor meeting specific requirements. Also, ensure the key is fully inserted into the console. Finally, check the reset/off circuit breaker on the treadmill frame near the power cord; if it protrudes, wait five minutes, then press it back in to reset it.

What to do if ProForm PFTL611040 Treadmill walking belt is off-center?
    • T
      Timothy RamosAug 30, 2025
If the ProForm Treadmill walking belt is off-center or slips, first remove the key and unplug the power cord. If the belt has shifted left, turn the left rear roller bolt clockwise 1/2 turn; if it has shifted right, turn the left bolt counterclockwise 1/2 turn. Avoid overtightening. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and run the treadmill briefly. Repeat until centered. If the belt slips, turn both rear roller bolts clockwise 1/4 turn. Proper tightness allows lifting each side of the belt 2 to 3 inches off the platform. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and walk carefully for a few minutes, repeating until tightened correctly.
