How to fix ProForm Treadmill if power does not turn on?

  To address a ProForm Treadmill that won't power on, ensure the power cord is connected to a surge suppressor, which is then plugged into a grounded outlet. The surge suppressor should meet the specifications on page 8 and must be a single-outlet type. Note that the treadmill isn't compatible with GFCI outlets. Also, make sure the key is fully inserted into the console. Finally, check the reset/off circuit breaker on the treadmill.

How to reset incline on ProForm Treadmill?

  To recalibrate the incline on your ProForm Treadmill, insert the key into the console and press one of the Incline buttons. While the incline is changing, remove the key. After a few seconds, re-insert the key. The treadmill will automatically rise to the maximum incline level and then return to the minimum level.

Why does the walking belt slow down on my ProForm Treadmill when I walk on it?

  If the walking belt on your ProForm Treadmill slows down when you walk on it, ensure that the walking belt is properly tightened. If it is overtightened, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Then, use an Allen wrench to turn both rear roller adjustment bolts counterclockwise by 1/4 of a turn. When the belt is correctly tightened, you should be able to lift each side of the belt 2 to 3 inches off the platform. Keep the belt centered. Plug the cord back in, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat as needed. If the belt continues to slow, please call our Customer Service Department.

What to do if ProForm Treadmill walking belt is off-center or slips?

  If the walking belt on your ProForm Treadmill is off-center or slips, try this: If the belt has shifted right, turn the left rear roller bolt clockwise 1/2 turn. If it has shifted left, turn the left rear roller bolt counterclockwise 1/2 turn. Avoid overtightening the belt. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes, repeating until centered. If the belt slips, remove the key and unplug the power cord first. Then, use an Allen wrench to turn both rear roller bolts clockwise 1/4 turn. When correctly tightened, you should be able to lift each side 2 to 3 inches off the platform. Keep the belt centered.

  If your ProForm Treadmill turns off during use, try these steps: First, press the circuit breaker to reset it. If that doesn't work, wait five minutes before plugging it back in. Also, remove and then re-insert the key fully into the console. If the treadmill still does not run, please call our Customer Service Department.
