What to do if the display of ProForm PFTL69806.0 Treadmill console does not function properly?
    • D
      Don CarterAug 17, 2025
To address a malfunctioning display on your ProForm Treadmill console, first remove the key and unplug the power cord. With assistance, carefully tip the uprights down. Remove the three screws and the three hood screws (a Phillips screwdriver with a shaft at least 5” long is required). Locate the Reed Switch and the Magnet on the right side of the Pulley. Turn the Pulley until the Magnet is aligned with the Reed Switch, ensuring the gap between them is correct by slightly adjusting the Reed Switch, then retighten the screw. Reattach the hood, and test the treadmill for correct speed by running it for a few minutes.

      Bianca BurchAug 23, 2025
If your ProForm Treadmill's power turns off unexpectedly during use, try these steps: First, check the reset/off circuit breaker and reset it if tripped by waiting five minutes before pressing the switch back in. Ensure the power cord is securely plugged in; if it is, unplug it, wait five minutes, and plug it back in. Also, try removing and reinserting the key from the console. If the issue persists, it is recommended to consult the front cover of the manual.

What to do if ProForm Treadmill walking belt is off-center?
    • W
      William CruzAug 30, 2025
If the walking belt on your ProForm Treadmill is off-center or slips, first remove the key and unplug the power cord. For an off-center belt, if it has shifted left, turn the left rear roller bolt clockwise 1/2 turn. If it has shifted right, turn the left bolt counterclockwise 1/2 turn. To fix a slipping belt, turn both rear roller bolts clockwise 1/4 of a turn. After each adjustment, plug in the power cord, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes to check the alignment and tension. When the walking belt is correctly tightened, you should be able to lift each edge of the walking belt 2 to 3 inches off the walking platform. Repeat until corrected, being careful not to overtighten.

Why does my ProForm Treadmill walking belt slow down when I walk on it?
    • A
      Ashley SmithSep 4, 2025
If the walking belt of your ProForm Treadmill slows down when you walk on it, ensure you're using a single-outlet surge suppressor that meets the specified requirements. If the walking belt is overtightened, it can decrease performance and potentially damage the belt. To correct this, remove the key and unplug the power cord, then use an allen wrench to turn both rear roller bolts counterclockwise 1/4 of a turn. When the walking belt is properly tightened, you should be able to lift each edge of the walking belt 2 to 3 inches off the walking platform. Plug the treadmill back in, insert the key, and run it for a few minutes, repeating adjustments as necessary. If the issue continues, consult the front cover of the manual.
