1. GENERAL SAFETY
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Carefully read the following important information regarding installation safety and maintenance.
Keep this information booklet accessible for further reference.
The appliance has been designed as external fumes exhaust or as a filtered internal air recycle
cooker hood.
This appliance is intended for domestic / household use only, and should not be used for any other
purpose. Any other use may invalidate the warranty and might be dangerous.
2. SAFETY PRECAUTION
Take care when the cooker hood is operating simultaneously with an open fireplace or burner that
depend on the environment and are supplied by other than electrical energy, as the cooker hood
removes the air from the environment which a burner or fireplace need for combustion.
There shall be adequate ventilation of the room when the range hood is used at the same time as
appliances burning gas or other fuels
Follow the local laws applicable for external air evacuation.
3. WARNING
In certain circumstances electrical appliances may be a danger hazard.
Do not check the status of the filters while the cooker hood is operating
Do not touch the light bulbs after appliance use
Do not flambe under the range hood.
Avoid free flame, as it is damaging for the filters and fire hazard
Constantly check food frying to avoid that the overheated oil may became a fire hazard
Disconnect the electrical plug prior to any maintenance.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instructions concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Indoor use only.
Do not dispose of electrical appliances with domestic waste, use your local collection
point.
Contact your local government for information regarding the collection systems
available.
When the appliance is not in use and before cleaning, unplug the appliance from the .
outlet.
