Cupboard Mounting:
4.1 Drill 6 4mm holes in the bottom of the hanging cupboard.
4.2 Fix the one way valve onto the cooker hood, then install the cooker hood on the bottom of the
hanging cupboard, tighten the 6 screws (supplied).
4.3 Install the adjustable boards on the bottom of the hood to cover the gap between the back of
the hood and the cupboard.
When installed the distance between the hood and the hob must be not less than 60cm above an
electric hob or 75cm above a gas or mixed fuel hob. This hood must not be fitted above an eye
level grill cooker without checking with the cooker's manufacture as it might adversely affect the
functioning of the grill. If the room where the cooker hood is fitted contains a fuel burning
appliance (such as central heating) its flue should be of the balanced Flue type. If other types of
flue are fitted ensure that a sufficient supply of air to the room is available. The air must not be
discharged into a flue that is used for exhausting fumes from appliances burning gas or other fuels
WARNING: Check that there are no water pipes or electrical cables in the wall where you want to
mount the hood before drilling any holes.
