6.Floatprediction:
Whenthebatterychargeswithin48hours,thevoltagereachestheconstantpressure point
andthecurrentislessthan0.8A,theDCcurrentandthePulse Chargingwill bothclosefor
30secs.
Belowarethreesituationswhichwill bring youback tostep5to continuecharging:
a.Voltageis<10V(5V for6V) and themaximumcurrentis <1A
b.Thevariationofvoltageis<1V (0.5Vfor 6V)
c.Voltageisat<13.2V(6.6Vfor 6V)
Withtheexceptionoftheabovethree situations,it willenter intothenextphase: Float
charging.
7.Floatchargingphase:
 Duringthefloatchargingphase,theDCcurrentcloses,andthepulsechargingturnson.
Theclipofffunctioncontinuousdetection(There’s nopulse on6V).
Herearetwoexamplesofthefloat chargingphase:
a.Whenthebatteryvoltagedropsless than13.6V after5 minutesitwillturn onthe DCcur-
rentchargingandchangeto“b”step.
b.Whenthebatteryvoltageisat >14.2Vand thecurrent isat<0.8A,then theDC current
turnsoffanditwillturnbackto“a”stepasacycle.
 *Note:LiFePO4batterytypesareexcludedfromthefloatchargingphaseandPulse.
BelowisthechargingmodeofLifePO4:
Bulkchargingphase:
a.Afterthebatterychargesfor16hours,thevoltageisat ≤12.8V, “BADBATTERY”isflash-
ing
b.Afterthebatterychargesfor16 hours,the voltageis at12.8V<voltage -<14.3V, itwill
entertheAbsorptionchargingphasewiththepresentvoltage.
c.Afterthebatterychargeswithin16 hours,and thevoltage isat>14.3V, itwill thenenter
theabsorptionchargingphase.
Absorptionchargingphase:
Constantvoltagechargingtimeisatleast5minutes
 12V/LiFePO4:14.3V
Floatchargingphase:
Intheabsorptionmode,thechargingcurrentiskeptbelow0.3A±0.2A, orthe current
reductionislessthan0.5Aper2hours.Iftheconstantvoltagecharging exceeds12 hours,it
transitionstothefloatchargingmode.
Floatchargevoltage:6.9V(for6Vbatteries), 13.8V(for 12Vbatteries).
Duringthefloatchargingstage:
a.Ifthevoltageexceeds14V(for 7Vand 6Vmode), thepulsingchargingshuts down,and the
pulsingindicatorlightturnsoff.
b.Ifthevoltagedropsbelow13.8V (for6.9V and6V mode),thepulsing chargingis activated,
andthepulsingindicatorlightturnson.
Maximumfloatchargecurrent:2A.Floatchargingduration:4hours.
7.Cyclecharging:
After4hoursoffloatcharging,thesystemwillentersleepmode(minimum durationof 2
hours).
ThisappliestoAGM/STDbatteries:Whenthe batteryvoltage isat ≤12.6V(12Vmode) or
