During the juicing process it may be
necessary to clean the grid one or more
times. Juicing fibrous produce (ginger,
turmeric, celery etc.) will clog a grid
quickly. If there is any kickback, you
notice hot pulp, or find that more force
is required to push the produce through,
check and clear the grid of fibrous pulp.
The best way to clean the grid is to stroke
across the face of the grid with the side
corner of the grid tray. Clean the grid tray
as often as needed. Doing this will extend
the life of the motor. Some users order
additional grids and batch clean them at
the end of the juicing session. If clogs are
too frequent, consider going up one or
more grid sizes (e.g., from 5mm to 6mm
or 7mm to 10mm).
