 Tilt the tube
Tilt the
QBC STAR
tube as shown, and allow the blood to move down the tube toward the center of
the tube. See Figure 15.

 Cap the tube
Remove the cap from the tube by pulling it straight off. Place the cap over the collection end of the
tube by guiding the glass end of the tube into the center of the cap. Push the cap on fi rmly. See Figures
16 and 17.
