3. ACTIVITIES PRIOR TO THE INSTALLATION OF THE AIR CONDITIONER for the
SC 39xx models
a. Determine the position where the indoor unit and outdoor unit will be installed. See Chapter 5 and
6.

ATTENTION
• Take into account the place where the condensed water can be drained.
• The distance between the indoor unit and the outdoor unit can be maximum 4 meter because
of the length of the piping.
b. Mount the mounting plate of the indoor unit. See Chapter 7.1
c. Drill a hole for the piping. See Chapter 7.2
d. Guide the piping through the hole in the wall and mount the indoor unit, with the hooks at the back,
on the upper hooks of the installation plate and check if the unit is secure. Don’t engage lower hooks
at this moment.
