a. Determine the position of the hole according the diagram in Fig. 9. Drill a hole (with a diameter ≥
85 mm for SC 39xx / ≥ 65 mm for S 39xx), directed slightly down in the direction of the outdoor unit;
this will prevent water seeping inside (Fig. 10).
b. Always use a drilling gauge for drilling in metal gratings, metal sheets or similar materials.
