2- Setting up Connections
In this section you are required to select the connection type.The three options offered are
MODEM, LAN or PC Meter Link.
• If Modem is selected a connection via an analogue telephone line is required. See
How to Use Modem connection on page 8.
• If the LAN option is selected the unit will test the connection for any security/proxy
settings. If a proxy server is detected the network administrator will be required to
obtain the settings for connection to the Neopost server. See How to Use LAN
connection on page 9.
• If the PC Meter Link is selected a connection via a USB cable to PC is required. See
How to Use PC Meter Link Connection on page 11.
