How to fix READY LED blinking on Quantum Medical Equipment?
    • R
      Ryan StephensAug 21, 2025
If the READY LED is continuously blinking on your Quantum Medical Equipment, first verify that the line voltage is high enough. For stored energy (SE) units, ensure the batteries are ready and check the AC input transformer tap adjustment for correct line voltage tapping. Also, check for 24 VDC at Power Supply Board A6 (AY40-005T) +24 VDC test point, as heat units might be exceeded.

What to do if Quantum QG-3200 Medical Equipment displays 'Calibration' error?
    • K
      Kelly NelsonSep 3, 2025
If your Quantum Medical Equipment shows 'Calibration', it means the generator kV, mA, and/or filament calibration settings are outside of acceptable limits. To fix this, access Service Mode and perform kV, mA, and/or filament calibration.

What does 'Filament Curr' mean on Quantum Medical Equipment and how to fix it?
    • C
      cheryl39Sep 1, 2025
If your Quantum Medical Equipment displays 'Filament Curr', it indicates a problem with the filament control regulator circuit voltage. Access the Service Configuration menu and verify that the correct tube is selected.

What does 'MA Current' mean on Quantum QG-3200?
    • A
      Alexandra HerreraAug 31, 2025
If your Quantum Medical Equipment displays 'MA Current', it means the exposure mA current is out of range. To resolve this, verify that the generator is properly calibrated.

What to do if Quantum QG-3200 displays 'Battery Over-Charged Battery 2 Over-Charged'?
    • J
      jmathisAug 29, 2025
If your Quantum Medical Equipment displays 'Battery Over-Charged Battery 2 Over-Charged', it indicates that the Line Monitor/Charger board is not adjusted correctly. To fix this, connect a DMM between Line Monitor/Charger Board AY40-028T test point TP2 and ground, and verify the voltage is +204 to +206 VDC.

What does 'Tube Limits' mean on Quantum QG-3200 and how to resolve it?
    • B
      Brandon MitchellAug 27, 2025
If your Quantum Medical Equipment displays 'Tube Limits', it means the backup time was reached because the current AEC technique factors exceeded the exposure tube limits. You should modify the technique factor(s), such as reducing kVp, and then retake the exposure.

What causes 'Battery Discharged Battery 2 Discharged' error on Quantum QG-3200 and how to fix it?
    • N
      nramirezAug 26, 2025
If your Quantum Medical Equipment displays 'Battery Discharged Battery 2 Discharged', connect a DMM to Line Monitor/ Charger Board A8 AY40-028T test point TP2 and ground to verify the voltage is +204 to +206 VDC. Also, connect a DMM between Line Monitor/Charger Board A8 test point TP3 and ground to verify the voltage is -204 to -206 VDC. This indicates a faulty stored energy cell or incorrect Line Monitor/Charger board adjustment.

Why does my Quantum Medical Equipment display 'Anode Heat' or 'Housing Heat'?
    • A
      amanda74Aug 25, 2025
If your Quantum Medical Equipment shows 'Anode Heat' or 'Housing Heat', it means that taking an exposure with the current settings could exceed the tube's maximum heat load capacity. To resolve this, reduce the technique factor(s) or wait until the tube cools down sufficiently before retaking the exposure.

What to do if READY LED is not illuminated on Quantum QG-3200 Medical Equipment?
    • V
      Virginia WallerAug 23, 2025
If the READY LED is not illuminated on your Quantum Medical Equipment, check the following: * Ensure the Generator Cabinet ON/OFF Circuit Breaker is ON. * Set the ON/STDBY Rocker Switch on the OCP (non-Q-Connect Systems) or Power/Expose Control Box (Q-Connect Systems) to ON. * Check and reset the Facility electrical service if it has been interrupted. * If the filament automatically shuts off after 60 minutes of inactivity, press the PREP key. * If the exposure settings exceed the tube or model limits, refer to the appropriate error message. * For Non-Q-Connect Systems, check the serial cable connection between the OCP and generator cabinet and jumper settings on OCP Control Board (AY40-004S1).
