Quicksilver 675PH — System & Component Overview and Operaon
The use of fuels containing ethanol higher than 10 percent
(E-10) can damage your engine and/ or fuel system and will
void the warranty.
E85 FUELS COULD SERIOUSLY DAMAGE YOUR ENGINE AND
MUST NEVER BE USED.
Storage
Long periods of storage and/or non-use, common to boats, create unique problems. When preparing
to store a boat for extended periods, of two months or more, it is best to completely remove all fuel
from the tank. If it is not possible to remove the fuel, maintaining a full tank of fuel with a fuel
stabilizer added to provide fuel stability and corrosion protecon is recommended.
REFER TO THE ENGINE MANUFACTURER’S MANUAL IN YOUR OWNER’S MANUAL PACKAGE FOR
COMPLETE INSTRUCTIONS AND WARRANTY INFORMATION.
Do not obstruct or modify the venlaon system.
Be sure to ll the water tank from a source known to
provide safe, pure drinking water.
If you do not use the freshwater system for long periods of
me, or only use it seasonally, it is recommended that you
disinfect the system before using.
2. Fresh Water System
The fresh water system consists of an 27.8 liter water tank, pump, and plumbing connecons for
water to the galley and the transom shower.
Filling the Tank
The water tank can be lled through the water ll inlet located under the starboard coaming cap of
the boat. Fill the tank only from a source known to provide safe, pure drinking water. Use only a
plasc hose to ll the water tank.
Fresh Water Pump
The fresh water pump delivers water from the tank to entertainment center faucet, and transom
shower. To power the system turn on the WATER PUMP switch located at the helm. Turn o the
power to the pump when your boat is not in use or when the fresh water tank is empty.
Disinfect the Fresh Water System
The following is a recommended procedure to disinfect the fresh water system:
1. Flush the enre system thoroughly by allowing potable water to ow through it.
2. Drain the system completely.
3. Fill the enre system with an approved disinfecng soluon. Check with your dealer for
recommended products, and follow the manufacturer’s instrucons.
4. Aer disinfecng, drain the enre system.
5. Flush the enre system thoroughly several more mes with potable water.
Maintenance
Maintenance of the fresh water system will require you to check the ngs and hoses to make sure
that there are no leaks. Before the winter season, the fresh water system must be completely drained
to avoid damage.
