6. Fish Boxes
Your boat has two large sh boxes located on the port and starboard side of the cockpit. Each sh box
has a drain plug that allows for the discharge of water from the compartment. In addion, on the
port sh box, there is an oponal electric pump out system that discharges water overboard.
The discharge pump can be accessed through the a center cockpit oor hatch. To operate, press the
switch marked FISHWELL PUMPOUT on the switch panel located on the a port side of the boat
under the gunnel cap.
The sh box drain plugs must be installed before
pung your boat in the water.

7. Fire Prevenon
Fire is a serious boang hazard. Boats will burn quickly. Do not remain onboard and ght a re for
more than a few moments. If the re is out of control and cannot be put out with the re
suppression equipment onboard, abandon ship immediately.
The boat, when in service shall be equipped with the following portable re exnguisher:
1. Fire Rang 13A 89B C
The boat owner/operator shall:
1. Have the re ghng equipment checked at the intervals indicated on the equipment.
2. Replace portable re exnguisher, if expired or discharged, by devices of idencal re ghng
capacity.
3. Have xed systems relled or replaced when expired or discharged.
4. Ensure that the re ghng equipment is readily accessible when the boat is occupied.
5. Inform the members of the crew about the locaon and operaon of the re ghng
equipment, the locaons of discharge openings in to the engine space, and the locaons of
escape routes and exits.
6. Keep the bilges clean and check for fuel and gas vapors or fuel leaks frequently.
The re exnguisher is located inside the cabin by the entry door on the bench seat base, while the
re port is located on the a vercal wall of the cockpit by the transom door.

Never obstruct passageways to exits or hatches, obstruct
safety controls (fuel valves, LPG valves, electrical switches,
etc.) obstruct portable re exnguishers stowed in lockers,
or modify any of the cra’s system (especially fuel, LPG, or
electrical) or allow unqualied personnel to modify any of
the cra’s system.
