Memo Recording — lets you leave messages for
yourself or others in your home or office, or record your
phone conversations. (See “Voice memo” on page 63.)
Phone Pick-Up Detection — stops recording when
you pick up any phone on the same line as the
answering system, and resets to answer the next call.
Call Screening — lets you listen as a caller leaves a
message. (See “Screening a call” on page 64.)
Speakerphone — lets you conduct a hands-free
conversation using the handset and base speaker. (See
“Making Calls” on page 30.)
Handset Remote Operation — lets you listen to your
incoming messages from the handset. (See “Remote

Message Alert — beeps when you have a new
