Using Direct Search
During a direct search, the scanner searches
up or down, starting from a frequency you
specify. Follow these steps to use direct
search.

: You can use the scanner's delay
feature while using direct search.

you want to use as a starting point for
the search.

To start from a frequency already

frequency, it stops searching and
displays the frequency. To store the
displayed frequency in the lowest
available channel, press

flash twice, and the scanner stores the
frequency. The scanner continues to
search for frequencies.

• If there is no empty channel,
Ch-
FULL
appears. To store more
frequencies, you must clear some
