Key Confirmation Tones - the scanner sounds a tone when you perform an

Memory Backup - keeps channel frequencies stored in memory
for 14 days or more during a power loss.
Lock Out Function - keeps channels you select from being scanned,
so you can skip over busy channels such as
those with a continuous transmission.
Squelch Control - lets you adjust the scanner's sensitivity to
either help the scanner receive weak signals
or help eliminate receiver noise when the
scanner is not receiving a signal, so you can
hear calls instead of static.
