After connecting the protective grounding cable for chassis, use the multi-meter to measure
the resistance between chassis and the grounding terminal, if the resistance is smaller than 1
Ω, then the protective grounding cable is installed correctly.
Do not connect the grounding cable of the RC1201-2GE16E1T1 to water pipe or
lightning rod of building, but connect it to the grounding terminal in the machine room.
6.4.5 Connecting power cables
The RC1201-2GE16E1T1 supports DC power and AC power. Before connecting the power
cables, ensure that the power supply in machine room has been installed completely and has
left interface for this installation.
As the power module does not have power switch, the power outlet location planning should
ensure that the power outlet is placed near the equipment to facilitate equipment switch.
To ensure the stability of power supply, select the power cable with diameter for16
AWG or above.
Connecting DC power cables
DC power cable connection terminals and other unnecessary nudity should be fully
insulated.
Disconnect all power supply before connecting the DC power cable to the device.
Connect the DC power cable as below:
Step 1 Check whether the protective grounding cable has been properly grounded.
Step 2 Insert the DC cable plug into the power outlet of DC power module RPD601 front panel and
confirm full insertion, as shown in Figure 6-9.

Step 3 Tighten the spring screws on the DC power outlet, as shown in Figure 6-10.
