If a wireless client is unable to join the network, consider the following: * Verify that all BreadCrumb devices are powered on. * Confirm the wireless card in the client device is enabled, typically indicated by a blinking light. * Ensure the wireless card is in 'Infrastructure' or 'Access Point' mode, not 'Ad Hoc' mode. * Scan for the default ESSID 'breadcrumb54' or 'breadcrumb54-v10' (or your network's ESSID) using your wireless card's software. * Check that the wireless client’s IP address settings are correctly configured. * Make sure the security settings on the client device and BreadCrumb devices match. * Verify the client device isn't blocked by an ACL. * If AirFortress encryption is enabled on the BreadCrumb devices, ensure it's also enabled on the client.
