10 ADJUSTMENTS
10.14 MAIN CLUTCH ADJUSTMENT
1. Undo clutch cover fixing bolts. The cover
can then hinge outwards leaving the clutch
uncovered.
2. Using a feeler gauge (B ) adjust (A) until
the gap is between 0.38mm and 0.50mm.
3. Replace the cover and tighten screws.
Important:
After any adjustment of the main drive clutch the
system check outlined in section 7.2 should be
carried out to ensure the correct operation of the
Operator Presence System.
10.15 PARKING BRAKE ADJUSTMENT
1. With Parking brake lever activated adjust
cable locking nut 8 to ensure the brake
band is exerting enough force on the drum
to stop the machine moving on a 15° slope
and is clear of the drum in the off position.
