Spreading application higher on

Fertiliser bridging above the agitator
Remove fertiliser until the height of the protective grid on
the affected side.
Break up accumulated fertiliser with a wooden stick
through the bars of the protective grid.
Outlet blocked

Defective agitator
Remove fertiliser until the height of the protective grid on
the affected side.
Open the metering slide and break up accumulated fertil-
iser with a wooden stick through the bars of the protective
grid so that the remaining fertiliser can run out of the out-
let.
Check the functionality of the agitator drive. See chapter

Check cap nuts for tight fit and check threads.
Metering slide opens with difficulty

Metering slides do not move easily. Check for smooth
slide movement, check the lever and the joints, and im-
prove if necessary.
