AxiomPro9and12MFDscanbemountedonthesuppliedtrunnionbracket.Thebracketcanbe
usedtomountyourMFDonahorizontalsurface.
EnsureyouhavechosenasuitablemountinglocationforyourMFD,withsufficientheadroomto
allowtheMFD’sangletobeadjustedortheMFDtoberemovedifnecessary.Ifinstalling‘above
head’takeextracaretoensuretheknobsaretightenedsufficientlytopreventthemcomingundone
duetovibrationwhenunderway.
Beforemountingtheunitensurethatyouhave:
•Sourcedadequatefixingstosecurethebrackettoyourmountingsurface.
•AttachedtheMenu/Homebuttonsandbezelpieces.
1.UsingtheBrack etasatemplate,Markanddrill5xpilotholesonthemountingsurface.
2.Useselftappingscrewstosecurethetrunnionbrackettothemountingsurface.
Ifthemountingsurfaceistoothinforthescrewsprovided,usestainlesssteelmachinescrews,
washersandlockingnuts,alternativelyreinforcetherearofthemountingsurface.
3.Usingthebrack etknobs,securetheMFDtotheBracket,ensuringtheratchetteetharecorrectly
engaged.
Theknobsshouldbetightenedbyhand,sufficientlytopreventtheMFDfrommovingwhilstyour
vesselisunderway.
