Whenthiscircleisadjustedtoalignwithatarget,itsrangefrom
yourvesselismeasuredanddisplayedontheRadarcontext
menuwhenyouselecttheVRMwiththecursor.
ElectronicBearingLines(EBL)
AnElectronicBearingLine(EBL)isalinedrawnfromyour
vesseltotheedgeofthewindow.Whenthislineisrotatedto
alignwithatarget,itsbearingrelativetoyourvessel’sheadingis
measuredanddisplayedontheRadarcontextmenuwhenyou
selecttheVRMwiththecursor.
TheVRM/EBLarecombinedtomeasureboththerangeandthe
bearingofthespeciedtarget.
