Youcanusememorycardstoarchivedatasuchaswaypoints,
routes,andtracks.
Memorycardscanbeusedtoarchiveyourdatawhenthe
systemcapacityisreached.Youcanthendeleteolddatafrom
yoursystem,creatingcapacityfornewdata.Thearchiveddata
canberetrievedatanytime.Youcanalsousememorycardsto
backupyourdata.
Note:Raymarinerecommendsthatyoubackupyourdatato
amemorycardonaregularbasis.
7.2Insertingamemorycardorchart
card
Note:NewaSeriesdisplayshave1cardslot,cardsmustbe
insertedintoNewaSeriesdisplayswiththecontactsfacing
up.
1.Openthechartcarddoor,locatedonthefrontrightofthe
display.
2.Insertthecard,asshowninthediagrambelow.Forslot1,
thecardcontactsshouldbefacingDOWN.Forslot2,the
cardcontactsshouldbefacingUP .DoNOTforcethecard.If
thecarddoesnotteasilyintotheslot,checktheorientation.

3.Gentlypressthecardallthewayintothecardslot,asshown
inthediagrambelow.Thecardissecurewhenanaudible
clickisheard.
