includestheoptionalJoystickControlUnit(JCU)andPoE
(PoweroverEthernet)injector,ensuretheseunitsarealso
connectedcorrectly.
Setupthecamera
Youwillneedto:
•Adjusttheimage(contrast,brightness,andsoon).
Checkthecamera
Youwillneedto:
•Checkthecameramovement(pan,tilt,zoom).
•Checkthecamera“home”positionisappropriate.
Adjustingthethermalcameraimage
Withthethermalcameraapplicationdisplayed:
1.SelectMenu.
2.SelectAdjustContrast.
3.SelecttheContrast,Brightness,orColoroptionas
appropriate.
Therelevantnumericadjustcontrolisdisplayed.
4.Adjustthevalueasrequired.
5.SelectBackorOktoconrmthenewvalue.
Panningandtilting,andthethermalimage
OnaNeweSeriesmultifunctiondisplayyoucanpanandtiltthe
thermalcameraimageusingthetouchscreen.
Moveyourngerupanddownthescreentotiltthecamera
upordown.
Moveyourngerleftandrightonthescreentorotatethe
cameraleftorright(panning).
Panning,Tiltingandzoomingthethermalimage
OnNewcSeriesandNeweSeriesmultifunctiondisplaysyou
canpan,tiltandzoomthethermalcameraimageusingthe
physicalbuttons.
Insomecircumstancesitmaybebettertousejustthe
UniControl'srotaryandjoystickcontrolstomanipulatethe
thermalcameraview.Forexample,thismethodisidealforner
controloverthecameraandisparticularlyusefulinroughsea
conditions.
UniControljoystick—isusedforrotatingthecameraleftor
right(panning),ortiltingthecameraupordown.
UniControlrotary—isusedtozoominandout.
Note:OnlytheUni-controlcanbeusedonaNewcSeries
displaytopan,tiltandzoomthethermalimage.
Resettingthethermalcameratothehomeposition
Inthethermalcameraapplication:
1.SelectMenu.
2.SelectCameraHome.
Thecamerareturnstoitscurrentlydenedhomeposition,
andthe“Home”iconappearson-screenmomentarily.
