Why does my Raypak 268 keep turning on and off?

  If your Raypak Swimming Pool Heater is going on and off continuously, it could be due to a dirty filter, so you should clean or replace it. It may also be caused by a low water level in the pool, so raise the water level. An external bypass setting that is out of adjustment can also cause this issue, so try adjusting the bypass. Lastly, marginal flow can be the culprit, so check the pump and flow switch.

Finally, insects or debris clogging the burner intake ports can cause sooting; clean the burners to resolve this.
