REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE
Rear Wheel/Hub Motor Replacement
Required Tools: Phillips Screwdriver and Two (2) 13 mm Wrenches (not included)
1 Release the two (2) side buttons and push out the
battery from the battery dock.
3 Using a Phillips screwdriver remove six (6) screws
and remove the deck plate.
5 Remove motor cable wires from connector using
an awl.
7 Using a 13 mm wrench, loosen the outside locknut
while using another 13 mm wrench to prevent the inside
nut from turning. Remove wheel/hub motor.
2 Using a Phillips screwdriver remove seven (7) screws
and remove the battery dock cover.
Note: There are two (2) sizes of screws,
A-Flat, B-Pointed
4 Disconnect motor cables.
6 Remove two (2) motor housing screws using a
Phillips screwdriver.
8 To install the replacement wheel/hub motor, reverse
steps 1-7.

wires into the connector, make sure
the red wire connects to the blue
wire and the black wire connects to
the brown wire.
