PUSHING AND TOWING THE SWEEPER

Proceed as follows to push or tow the sweeper:
Unscrewing the by-pass lever 1, (under the variable delivery pump) approximately of a turn.
WARNING!
Never push or tow the machine at speeds above 5 km/h or the hydraulic system could be damaged.
Screwing the by-pass lever 1 when ready to start work again.
OPERATIONS TO LIFT THE SWEEPER

To lift up the sweeper, use the specifi c lifting-hooking points:
1) Front hook
2) Holes on the rear position 2 of the sweeper (on the RH and LH side)
The weight of the motorsweeper is reported on the identifi cation label.
To hook place the safety crane hook or U bolt the front eye bolt.
The lifting points at the rear of the motorsweeper are 30 mm diamenter, only use an specifi c safety hook.
WARNING!
During the lifting is essential to check that the motorsweeper remains horizontal; the lifting operation
must be done only by an AUTHORIZED EXPERT STAFF; ensure all other person stay away.
OPERATING THE SWEEPER

PRECAUTIONS
- The motor sweeper should only be used by competent and authorised personnel
- Always remove the key and apply brake 3 and locking lever 3a (fi g.1) when leaving the sweeper unattended.
- Never park the motor sweeper on a slope.
Perform the following checks before operating the motor sweeper:
DIESEL and PETROL versions:
- engine oil level 3;
- engine air fi lter 4;
- hydraulic oil level 2;
- fuel level in tank 1;
- engine cooling water level 5.
ELECTRIC versions:
- every 8 working out houres, the level of the electrolyte in the batteries 6 and the hydraulic fl uid level;
- place the batteries under charges as soon as you fi nish working.
- the battery must be charged with a 48 V automatic battery charger with initial intensity of 50 A.
