Make sure that liquids cannot get inside the electronic fl ushing and pressure
testing unit with compressor.
4.2 Pressure gauge calibration
Calibration of the control elements (pressure sensors) of the REMS Multi-Push
is not necessary. It is recommended to check the pressure gauge every 2 years.
To do this, the pressures shown in the display can be checked by additionally
connecting an accurate, fi nely scaled pressure gauge (see Accessories 1.2)
between REMS Multi-Push and the installation. You must make sure here that
the pressure of the stress test is not applied to the fi nely scaled pressure gauge
up to 250 mbar, otherwise it will be destroyed.
The pressures displayed on the screen of the REMS Multi-Push can be calibrated
at the REMS-ROLLER Service Center if necessary. A test certifi cate is issued
for the calibration. Calibration of the external pressure gauge for the pressurised
vessel (30) and the compressed air tools (32) is not necessary.
4.3
Pull out the mains plug before carrying out maintenance or repair work!
This work may only be performed by qualifi ed personnel.
If faults occur, fi rst check whether the respective latest version software (Ver. Software) is installed on the input and control unit. Select the Settings menu and then
Device data to display the version software. The latest version software (Ver. Software) for the input and control unit is available by USB stick as a download under
www.rems.de → Downloads → Software. Compare the number of the version software with the latest version software number and install the latest version software
on the input and control unit by means of a USB stick if necessary. See 2.3 for the further procedure.
If the REMS Multi-Push welcome message remains constant in the control panel
(36)) or if the Error message is displayed in any program on the control
panel (36), the power supply of REMS Multi-Push should be interrupted by pulling out the mains plug or pressing the RESET button (2) and switched back on
according to 2.1 Electrical Connection. If Error is displayed again, the procedure must be repeated after pressure in the REMS Multi-Push has been relieved.
To do this, pull out the mains plug, close the water pipe and remove all the hoses, caps and stoppers from the REMS Multi-Push, then switch back on according
to 2.1 Electrical Connection of Machine.
REMS Multi-Push does not switch on after pressing the On/Off button (4).
On/Off button (Fig. 2 (4)) pressed too briefl y.
Press On/Off button for about 2 s, then release.
PRCD fault current circuit breaker (Fig. 1 (1)) is not switched on.
Switch on PRCD fault current circuit breaker as described in 2.1..
Mains lead/PRCD defective.
Have the mains lead/PRCD changed by qualifi ed personnel or an authorised
REMS customer service workshop.
REMS Multi-Push defective.
Have the REMS Multi-Push checked/repaired by an authorised REMS
customer service workshop.
Compressor will not start although there is low or no pressure in the compressed air tank (see the display on the compressed air tank pressure gauge
Compressor emergency stop button (Fig.4 (29)) is switched off.
Switch on compressor by pulling out the emergency stop button.
REMS Multi-Push defective.
Have the REMS Multi-Push checked/repaired by an authorised REMS
customer service workshop.
The necessary minimum fl ow velocity is not achieved in the fl ushing program.
Stop tap of the house connection is only partly open.
Fine fi lter (Fig. 3 (12)) is contaminated.
Clean or change the fi ne fi lter and fi lter cartridge.
Not enough tapping points opened.
Open the appropriate number of tapping points.
Hoses connected incorrectly.
Connect hoses as shown in Fig. 3.
Check defaults, correct if necessary. Restart the program.
Valves blocked, considerable, irremovable encrustations in the pipes.
Clean/change valve(s). Clear encrustations.
The set pressure (p refer) is not reached in the test with compressed air or compressed air pump programs.
Installation or compressed air hose (Fig. 4 (23)) leaking.
Check installation for leaks. Change the compressed air hose.
No or too little pressure in the compressed air tank.
REMS Multi-Push defective.
Have the REMS Multi-Push checked/repaired by an authorised REMS
customer service workshop.
The set pressure (p refer) is not established in the test with water program (Multi-Push SLW).
The water pressure of the house connection is greater than the set pressure
Close the shut-off valve of the house connection.
Suction/pressure hose (Fig. 1 (13)) or high-pressure hose (Fig. 4 (26)) leaking.
Change suction/pressure hose or high-pressure hose.
Hydro-pneumatic pump does not build up pressure.
Connect suction/pressure hose between the house connection and the
pressure test with water supply, see 2.6.2.
Stop tap of the water supply is closed or only partly open.
No or too little air pressure in the compressed air tank.
Hydro-pneumatic pump requires compressed air, see 5.2 Fault:

The pressure in the pipe to be tested is not relieved after running the test with water programs or during the test with water B, P+M.
Pressure relief water drain (Fig. 4 (27)) is soiled or defective.
Clean the pressure relief water drain or have it replaced by qualifi ed personnel
or an authorised REMS customer service workshop.
