Blind spot warning
Using information from the sensors
installed on each side of the rear
bumper (area
C
), the function warns
the driver:
– when a vehicle is in the blind spot
area
A
and travelling in the same
direction as your vehicle;
and/or
– when there is a risk of collision with
a vehicle that is in the
B
area and
driving faster than you on an adjoining
lane.
The function warns you when your
vehicle is travelling at a speed above
approximately 9 mph (15 km/h).
The function does not notify
the driver if the other
vehicles are not moving.
This function is an
additional driving aid.
This function is not
under any circumstances
intended to replace the due care
and attention of the driver, who
should at all times be in control of
the vehicle.
