FUEL TANK
Useable fuel tank capacity:
55 litres (12 gallons) approx.
To open flap A, place your finger in
recess 1 then pull the flap.
Refer to the information on “Filling
up with fuel” for more details.
There is a cap holder 2 on the fuel
filler flap for use when filling the
tank.
Fuel filler cap: this is a
special type. If you have to
replace it, make sure the
new cap is of the same type.
Contact your RENAULT Dealer.
Never handle the cap near a source
of heat or a flame.
Do not wash the filler area with a
high-pressure washer.
Fuel grade
Use a high grade fuel that complies
with the standards currently in
force in each country.
Petrol version
It is essential to use unleaded
petrol. The octane rating (RON)
must conform with the information
given on the label inside fuel filler
flap. Refer to the “Engine
specifications” in Section 6.
Diesel version
It is essential to use diesel fuel that
conforms with the information
given on the label inside fuel filler
flap A.
Make sure that no water
accidentally enters the fuel tank
during filling. The shut-off system
and its surrounding area must be
dust-free.
Do not mix even small
volumesofpetrolwith
diesel.
